Drawing on the absence of light, like painting with silence, Anamaria's designes employ juxtaposition, harsh shadows, and subtle textures to adapt and flow with the existing environment. Through this approach she creates abstract and disorienting dream worlds that draw the audience deeper into an experience. Inspired by diverse aesthetic movements from Romanticism ,Dadaism and Realism meeting somehwere in the middle and the colorful character of daily life. She designs in various mediums, including film, digital software, bringing  human emotions to light. Her designs have been commissioned by Adrienne Arsht Center, MDC Live Arts, Miami Light Project, Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami Motel Stories and Koubek Center.

Anamaria is part of a Miami Collective called Mi Casa Su Casa, and performs in an experimental audiovisual collective, Las Rarxs.
